0.2.0 - New Game Mode: All Together


Hi everyone,
with this new update I’ve added the third game mode, but before going into details, let me start with a small premise.

While testing this new mode, I realized I had made the mechanics and rules unnecessarily complicated. In particular, I noticed I was often confused with the color switching—it wasn’t always clear which drones I should destroy and which I should avoid.
So I thought: “Hey, instead of changing the player’s color, why not just make a single rule: you can only destroy the blue bots and you get damaged by the red ones. Then, when it’s time, I’ll just swap the bots’ colors.”
I honestly don’t know why I hadn’t thought of this earlier, but the game feels so much better this way.

So, to recap: see a red bot? Run away. See a blue bot? Smash into it.

In this new game mode you’ll be facing both red and blue bots at the same time, and they’ll switch colors at regular intervals. So you’ll have to keep destroying the blues while avoiding the reds as they change.

I already have at least one more game mode in mind, but I’ve decided to first build a brand new level. It will be unlockable by destroying a special bot that might spawn during a run.
